Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) are legally formed collectives that empower farmers through collective marketing, input supply, training.

What is an FPO? A Farmer Producer Organization is a legal entity formed by primary producers (farmers, milk producers, fishermen, weavers, rural artisans and craftsmen). It lets small farmers act together for better prices, cheaper inputs, training and market access.

Working in the FPO sector since 2011; MoU with NABARD in 2015
Under NABARD’s Produce Fund: IRADA Farmers Producer Company and Greenfresh Veg FPC (Lucknow, Barabanki)
Under NABARD’s PODF-ID: FPOs in Gonda and Azamgarh, including Awadh Agriculture PC and Purvanchal Integrated Agricultural FPC
Nodal Agency for 20 FPOs in 7 districts
111+ FPOs registered and promoted; 125 more under registration in FY 2025-26
Technical support to 500+ FPOs across UP, Maharashtra and other states

Success Story

IRADA Farmers Producer Company (Mall, Lucknow). Dasheri mangoes were exported to Europe (GLOBALG.A.P. certified, Indo-German AMD project) and to Dubai (flagged off 15 June 2025). The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare appreciated this on social media.
